Executive Team

Shayan joined Bluwan in February 2010. As Chief Commercial Officer he oversees all aspects of Bluwan’s go-to-market strategy including product management, sales, marketing, regulatory affairs and corporate strategy.

Prior to joining Bluwan, Shayan served as Director of Solutions Architecture for Amdocs North America (NYSE:DOX). He held several senior positions in product marketing, product management, business line management and consulting across the globe, spanning Australia, Asia, Europe and the US.

Shayan has 15 years of telecommunications experience, working with top-tier service providers to help them improve end-customer experiences and optimise their next generation networks. He has been a C-level advisor to Telkom South Africa, British Telecom and Reliance Communications.

In March 2012, Shayan was nominated by the telecoms industry as one of top 40 young executives under 40 years old in the Global Telecoms Business 40under40. He chaired the Transport Networks for Mobile Operators (TNMO) conference in Berlin in April 2012, has been invited to speak at the GSMA Mobile World Congress 2013 on the topic of  “Smaller But Smarter: Making a Success of Small Cell Networks”.

A recognized industry thought leader, his commentary and opinions are often included in industry media, including BBC Click, Bloomberg, Wall Street Journal, Wired and Light Reading, amongst others.
