Providing multiple play services in rural and tropical areas with Bluwan's FTTA Ku Band solution

Service providers that are able to provide converged fixed and mobile services in the form of a multiple play offer with high speed broadband capacity will be in a strategic position to lead in an increasingly competitive landscape. This increased competition will naturally result in lower prices for an improved array of services delivered to the end consumer. In essence, service providers will be able to supply ADSL2+ equivalent access to suburban, rural/urban and rural areas on par with those found in highly urbanized areas, without the need to lay down fibre, nor the need to rely on the incumbent carrier. A solution such as our FTTA Ku Band solution for rural and tropical areas can therefore present itself as a viable alternative that can help service providers optimize their network build investments.

There is a critical need to provide solutions that can bridge the digital divide with very high throughput triple or quadruple play services with minimal cost of ownership, fast time to market and scalable capacity. Bluwan's FTTA Ku Band solution easily integrates with existing level 1 fibre infrastructure.

Our solution features:

  • Very low CAPEX investments when compared to fibre optics deployments.
  • Fast time to market .
  • Highly scalable capacity enabling service providers to easily increase their range of services, coverage area, and acquire more customers in an effort to increase total ARPU while remaining in control of margins.
