Aggregation Nodes
FTTA gigabit networks are integrated to a service provider's core network at the Aggregation Node (AN). The AN collects and routes all data traffic from Bluwan Net Heads to the service provider's core network.
Functions
- The Aggregration Node is unique for an FTTA deployment. It collects and routes data traffic from the service provider's networks to radio containers at the Net Head
- The AN also merges downstream and upstream IP flows to provide a full end to end IP service
- The AN also integrates with the Network Management System to control the network management map and controls the information management security for all FTTA network elements
- Bluwan's AN can be managed remotely
Installation
Bluwan's Aggregation Node is installed at the service provider's facility, in close proximity to the service provider's core fibre network. Bluwan's AN requires just a few square meters to set up (one to ten 37U or 42U cabinets, depending of the required deployment size), and does not require the use of outdoor units.
