FTTA Network Architecture

The Bluwan FTTA product is a Point to Multipoint (PTMP) system with its main components being the Modems, Multiplexers, Radios, Antennas and CPEs.

Our multiplexing  technology allows the aggregation of multiple independent channels (modems) through our wideband radios and antennas onto a single air interface. This works in much the same way as optical multiplexing, which combines different wavelengths into a single fibre to increase capacity.

Bluwan’s FTTA technology and architecture enables service providers to deliver tailored bandwidth across a geographically dispersed array of end points. This allows a wide variety of applications within a single system.

The systems features:

  • Connectivity
  • Radio Access Control
  • Traffic Shaping / QoS (optional)
